"If a less experienced TM user has “very hard” sets, then he has probably incorrectly used a volume or intensity dose" - TM Ebook part 1
"Typically the VD should not be more than 90% of the ID and works very well around 85% (note that this is not a percentage of 1RM, but of the weight lifted on ID). If the lifter is above 85%, he should work to bring it down and to see if he can still make gains on his ID with a sub 85% VD."
Your current volume/intensity disparity is at 91%. You might want to think about lowering your volume or at least keeping it constant for a few weeks?
I know I only just started TM again, but my first bench volume day was just 85 x 5 x 5 and my first intensity 101 x 5 and the latter was the lightest that weight has ever felt. Early days yes, but perhaps something you might want to consider?
